Phillip Toledano was born in London, and is an art director-turned photographer that now resides in New York City. It doesn’t surprise me that Toledano spent time on the agency side, because the art director side of him shows in his compositions. His fashion and editorial work is amazing, and beautifully executed while his fine art is just as dynamic. He recently did a projected entitled Days With My Father which is a heart-felt tribute to his dad who suffers from Alzheimers.
It’s inspiring to see photographer’s (who do large scale commercial work) take the time to do personal projects like this one. Here.
